In the early morning hours of April 29, 2024, a fatal encounter unfolded in the Quality Hill neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri, leaving 32-year-old Sharma Whitney, a Black female, dead from a gunshot wound. The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of 11th and Washington Streets.
