On February 19, 2024, the body of 26-year-old Elaysha Gilliam, a pregnant mother of four, was discovered in a field near Dunbar Park in Kansas City, Missouri. She had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. At the time of her death, Gilliam was approximately 12 weeks pregnant with her fifth child.
