Deveonna Rimson, a three-year-old girl from Kansas City, Missouri, tragically died on July 15, 2015. The incident occurred when Deveonna accidentally shot herself with a firearm. According to police reports, officers were called to a home near 31st and Spruce streets just before 8 p.m. after receiving reports of a young child with a serious injury. Initially, it was believed that Deveonna had been stabbed, but it was later confirmed that she had suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
