On February 14, 2024, during the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl victory parade, a tragic shooting occurred near Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident resulted in the death of 45-year-old Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a well-known Tejano DJ for local radio station KKFI. Lopez-Galvan was among the attendees celebrating the Chiefs' victory when gunfire erupted, leading to her untimely death at the scene.
