On April 9, 2024, at approximately 10 p.m., Kansas City police responded to reports of gunfire near East 32nd Street and Agnes Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 58-year-old Nancy Stinnett unresponsive inside her residence, having been struck by bullets fired from outside the home. Emergency medical services pronounced her dead at the scene.
