In the quiet evening hours of April 21, 2024, tragedy struck in the Mark Twain I-70 Industrial neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. Demetrius Bush, a 53-year-old man, was discovered inside his car on the 6300 block of Windham Avenue. He had been fatally shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department was called to the scene at approximately 8:45 p.m. and immediately launched a homicide investigation into the violent death.
