On March 31, 2023, 23-year-old Jevon Malcom Patterson was fatally shot in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred in the 5000 block of Thrush Avenue, where Patterson was shot in the stomach while cradling a baby inside a car that was riddled with bullets. After the shooting, he was transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
