On April 22, 2024, Daniel Hughes, a 27-year-old resident of St. Louis, Missouri, was fatally shot in the 1600 block of Hamilton Avenue. The incident occurred just before 9 p.m., when Hughes was standing on the sidewalk and became the victim of a drive-by shooting.
