Michael E. Merchant, aged 54, tragically passed away on June 22, 2019, in Saint Louis, Missouri. His death was the result of a murder-suicide incident that occurred in the Kingsway East neighborhood. According to reports, police responded to a call at around 6:32 p.m. and found both Michael and his 23-year-old son, Isiah Merchant, suffering from gunshot wounds to the head. The preliminary investigation by the homicide division revealed that Isiah shot Michael before turning the gun on himself.
