On the night of July 23, 2019, police in St. Louis, Missouri, were called to a chaotic scene in the North Pointe neighborhood. Around 10:10 p.m., officers responded to the 8500 block of Mora Lane after receiving reports of a vehicle fire. Upon their arrival, first responders discovered a car engulfed in flames. Once the fire was extinguished, investigators found the body of a deceased individual inside the vehicle. The victim was identified as 21-year-old Markail Loggins.
