On the night of July 23, 2019, 21-year-old Markail Loggins was found dead inside a burning car in the North Pointe neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. Police responded to the scene on the 8500 block of Mora Lane around 10:10 p.m. and discovered Loggins' body with multiple gunshot wounds. The car was set ablaze, likely in an attempt to destroy evidence and hinder the investigation.
