On January 8, 2023, Thomas David Russell, a 29-year-old resident of St. Louis, Missouri, was found deceased from gunshot wounds inside a home in the 1200 block of Sells Avenue in the city's Baden neighborhood. He was discovered around 11:30 a.m. on the kitchen floor and was pronounced dead at the scene.
