In the summer of 2024, a burst of violence cut short the life of Diandre McGee, a 38-year-old Black man from Jennings, Missouri. The fatal encounter unfolded on June 17th in St. Louis, where McGee was shot multiple times. The incident, which occurred in the 3600 block of W. Upton St. just before 11 a.m., drew a swift response from law enforcement.
