On a cold December evening in Saint-Louis, Missouri, the life of 40-year-old Jerry Monroe was tragically cut short by gunfire. The incident, which also left another man critically injured, unfolded on Thursday, December 17, 2020, in the 8700 block of Link Avenue. Responding to a call at approximately 9:21 p.m., St. Louis County Police officers arrived to a grim scene where they discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
