On the evening of September 14, 2024, police officers in St. Louis, Missouri, were dispatched to the Hyde Park neighborhood following reports of a shooting. Arriving at the 2000 block of Bremen Avenue around 7:15 p.m., first responders discovered a grey Hyundai Kona parked at the scene. Inside the vehicle, they found an unresponsive 31-year-old African American male in the driver's seat who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
