Louis police, who initiated an investigation into the shooting.
For over two years, the case of Brian Ware's death remained under investigation by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. Their persistent efforts eventually led to a significant development in January 2021. The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office brought charges against 29-year-old Angelo McNeal in connection with the fatal shooting.
McNeal was faced with a series of serious charges, including second-degree murder, armed criminal action, and the unlawful use of a weapon.
