In the early hours of a Saturday morning in north St. Louis, a grim discovery was made inside a vacant house on the 3900 block of Sullivan. Responding to a call, detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department found the body of 27-year-old Travis Phillips. He had been fatally shot, sustaining gunshot wounds to his head and hand.
