On the evening of the Fourth of July in 2024, a celebratory gathering in the Glasgow Village area of North St. Louis County turned into a scene of tragedy. Gregory Mills, a 30-year-old Black male from Woodson Terrace, Missouri, was fatally shot while enjoying the holiday festivities. The incident occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. in the 10200 block of Valley Drive.
