On the evening of September 2, 2024, a tragic shooting incident claimed the life of four-year-old Harley Dion Hosein in the Baden neighborhood of Saint Louis, Missouri. Police officers responded to a distress call shortly before midnight at a residence in the 700 block of Thrush Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered the young girl suffering from a critical gunshot wound and barely breathing.
Due to the severity of her condition and the urgency of the situation, responding officers did not wait for an ambulance; instead, they placed her in their patrol vehicle and rushed her to a nearby hospital while attempting to render life-saving aid.
