Lawren Mitchell, a 22-year-old woman from Saint Louis, Missouri, tragically lost her life on May 24, 2020. The incident occurred in the 5200 block of Lucas and Hunt Road in the Jennings neighborhood. According to reports, Mitchell was shot in the neck during an argument with her ex-boyfriend, Darius Ware. The confrontation escalated, leading to Ware fatally shooting Mitchell.
