In the early morning hours of February 15, 2016, Danesha Barnes, a 33-year-old woman, was found deceased in her silver Saturn in Saint Louis, Missouri. Responding to a report of gunshots just after 1:00 a.m., police discovered her vehicle in the 3700 block of St. Louis Avenue, where it had come to rest against a fence. Both of the driver's side windows of her car had been shot out, and Barnes had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to her neck.
