On the evening of April 15, 2024, a tragic sequence of events unfolded in the Tower Grove South neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, resulting in the death of 55-year-old Elizabeth 'Liz' Colletta. Officers from the St. Louis Police Department were dispatched to a residence on the 4200 block of Hartford Street near Bent Avenue around 9:30 p.m. following reports of a shooting.
