On the evening of May 11, 2025, 24-year-old African American woman Jorre Hadley was fatally shot in the Ville neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. Officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call around 7:30 p.m. in the 4400 block of Maffitt Avenue, where they discovered Hadley inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
