Alani Hutchins, a 16-year-old girl from Florissant, Missouri, tragically lost her life on June 7, 2020, in a double shooting incident in St. Louis' Bevo neighborhood. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the shooting around 2 a.m. in an alley on the 4200 block of Neosho Street. Alani was found inside a car along with a 21-year-old man who had also been shot. Unfortunately, Alani was pronounced dead at the scene, while the man was taken to a hospital with unstable vitals.
