On July 10, 2024, 24-year-old Montrez Heart was shot near Kingshighway and Bircher Boulevard in St. Louis, Missouri. He was dropped off at a local hospital around 3:50 p.m. in critical condition and, due to his injuries, was unable to provide a statement. Tragically, Heart succumbed to his injuries on July 12.
