On the afternoon of Friday, August 20, 2021, a violent incident unfolded in the Benton Park West neighborhood of Saint Louis, Missouri. Around 4:00 p.m., local law enforcement officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Pestalozzi Street, near the intersection with Jefferson Avenue, following reports of gunfire in the area.
