On September 7, 2024, at approximately 1 a.m., Kansas City police responded to a reported vehicle crash on westbound 12th Street near Benton Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unoccupied vehicle exhibiting signs of a recent collision. During a subsequent search of the vicinity, they found 20-year-old Michael B.
