On September 28, 2024, 18-year-old Treon Johnathan Jones was fatally shot in Hazelwood, Missouri. The incident occurred around 5 a.m. in a residence on the 200 block of Connolly Drive, where Jones was found in bed with a woman. According to police reports, the woman's boyfriend, Bryce Ellis, tracked her phone location to the residence. Upon arrival, Ellis allegedly broke into the home and confronted the pair.
