On the night of May 6, 2019, violence erupted in the Baden neighborhood of North St. Louis, Missouri, drawing law enforcement to a grim scene on Frederick Street. Around 11:30 p.m., police officers responded to calls reporting a shooting in the area. Upon their arrival, they discovered an unconscious male lying next to a vehicle. The victim was not breathing, and despite the immediate presence of emergency responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene, having succumbed to fatal gunshot wounds.
