In the late evening hours of a summer night in Newark, New Jersey, tragedy struck on the 300 block of Clinton Avenue. On July 24, 2023, at approximately 10:05 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the neighborhood's peace. When Newark Police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a grim tableau: three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Among them was 28-year-old Victor Roberts of East Orange, a male whose life was about to be tragically cut short.
