On a cold January afternoon in Newark, New Jersey, a leisurely walk turned into a scene of violence that claimed the life of a young man. Tony Mustafa Branch, a 25-year-old male, was walking with his 23-year-old sister in the 100 block of Seymour Avenue on January 16, 2017, when gunfire erupted. The shots struck both siblings, leaving Tony Branch with fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
