In the early morning hours in Newark, New Jersey, a life was tragically cut short by gunfire. Antoine Alston, a 39-year-old male, was discovered on the 300 block of Broadway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The call reporting the shooting came in at 3:58 a.m., and upon their arrival, Newark police officers found Mr. Alston outside. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:26 a.m.
