In the late afternoon of August 14, 2019, tragedy struck in a parking lot in the 400 block of Littleton Avenue in Newark, New Jersey. Anthony Starks, a 31-year-old male, was discovered suffering from apparent gunshot wounds at approximately 5:30 p.m. The grim discovery prompted an immediate response from Newark police.
