In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Newark, New Jersey, a dispute tragically cut short the lives of two brothers. Jose Castillo-Granados, a 25-year-old man, and his younger brother, Francisco Castillo-Granados, aged 22, were fatally shot on August 27, 2017. The brothers, originally from Honduras, were near the intersection of Adams and Walnut streets in the city's Ironbound section when the incident occurred.
