In the late hours of a Saturday in Newark, New Jersey, the life of 33-year-old Raheem Hughee of East Orange was tragically cut short. On June 28, 2014, police responded to a call on Mountainview Avenue, where they found Hughee deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. The incident was one of two unrelated fatal shootings that occurred in the city that same day.
