In the early hours of September 2, 2023, Trenton police responded to reports of a shooting in the 200 block of Brunswick Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 40-year-old Ronald Taylor Jr., unresponsive in a vacant lot, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
