In the early morning hours of November 17, 2020, the life of 26-year-old Jeremy McTamney was tragically cut short. A lifelong resident of the Trenton, New Jersey area, McTamney, a male, was found suffering from a gunshot wound on the 200 block of Pearl Street in the city. The call reporting the shooting came in at approximately 2:30 a.m.
Responding officers arrived at the scene to find McTamney gravely injured. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Jeremy McTamney succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. His death marked the 37th homicide in Trenton for that year, a grim statistic that matched the city's record for homicides in a single year.
