In the early hours of a Friday morning, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Trenton, New Jersey neighborhood. Just after midnight on June 9, 2023, a Shot Spotter activation alerted police to trouble near Aspen Alley and Evans Avenue. Arriving at the scene, officers found a young man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.
