In the early morning hours of June 7, 2015, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Trenton, New Jersey neighborhood. Responding to the alert of the city's ShotSpotter system, police discovered the body of 24-year-old Ronnie Livingston on the sidewalk in the 300 block of St. Joes Avenue. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. Livingston was a Black male.
