Javonte Martin, a 29-year-old man from Portsmouth, Virginia, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident on January 8, 2023. The fatal event occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 3:38 a.m., near the 2900 block of Elm Avenue, close to Saint Paul's Cemetery.
