On a cold evening in Newport News, Virginia, the life of Cordale Redd Darnell Christen Wilson was cut short. It was January 26, 2023, when police were called to the scene of a shooting on Riverlands Drive. There they found the 35-year-old Black male suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
