Rocco Marcus Nixon, a 34-year-old man from Portsmouth, Virginia, tragically lost his life on June 1, 2023, in a shooting incident that occurred in front of a daycare center on King Street. The Portsmouth Police Department responded to the scene and found Nixon with life-threatening injuries. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his wounds.
