In the late hours of August 2, 2023, the life of 24-year-old Zion Joseph was tragically cut short in Richmond, Virginia. A Black male, Joseph was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 1900 block of Phaup Street. The call reporting the shooting came in at approximately 11:55 p.m., bringing Richmond Police officers to the residential area.
