On December 4, 2023, at approximately 3:44 p.m., the Accomack County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunshot victims in the 31000 block of Keller Pond Road in Painter, Virginia. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 24-year-old Aaliyah Antonatte Shakuria Collick and a 23-year-old male, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Collick was pronounced dead at the scene, while the male victim was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
