Death by Force

Aveyon Jordan, a 19-year-old resident of Portsmouth, Virginia, tragically lost his life on March 11, 2024, in a shooting incident. The Portsmouth Police Department responded to a reported gunshot wound in the 4700 block of Haywood Drive, not far from High St W, at approximately 10:37 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Jordan suffering from a gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
