On March 16, 2024, at approximately 2:25 a.m., Norfolk police responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the 1700 block of East Little Creek Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered 28-year-old Katrina Anderson, a Petty Officer First Class in the U.S. Navy, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
