Amira Y. James-Rodgers, a 41-year-old resident of Norfolk, Virginia, tragically lost her life on August 23, 2021. The incident occurred around 11:55 p.m. when dispatchers received a call reporting a gunshot victim at a home located in the 1600 block of Kingsway Road. Upon arrival, Norfolk Police found Amira suffering from a gunshot wound, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
