In the early morning hours of October 15, 2022, the life of 22-year-old Tyasia T. Lundy was tragically cut short in a shooting in Norfolk, Virginia. Police responded to a call of two gunshot victims in the 900 block of Bagnall Road at approximately 1:07 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Ms. Lundy with life-threatening injuries. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Further investigation by the Norfolk Police Department revealed that the
shooting had actually occurred in the 900 block of Marshall Avenue. In addition to the fatal injuries sustained by Ms. Lundy, a man was also wounded in the incident. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries, which were not considered life-threatening.
The death of Tyasia T. Lundy is being investigated as a homicide by the Norfolk Police.
