On November 6, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Norfolk, Virginia, resulting in the death of Katrina S. Wade, a 43-year-old woman from Chesapeake. The incident took place in the 2700 block of Corprew Avenue, less than a mile away from Norfolk State University's campus.
