On a Sunday evening in Portsmouth, Virginia, the life of 28-year-old Zavier Tyrone Allen Johnson was tragically cut short by gun violence on May 5, 2024. Emergency services were dispatched to a local hospital where Johnson had been taken after sustaining life-threatening injuries in a shooting. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his wounds.
