On May 19, 2024, at approximately 4:29 a.m., 60-year-old Anthony Haughton was found fatally shot in the vicinity of Georgia Avenue and Wortman Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. Emergency Medical Services transported him to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The investigation into his death is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
